TRADITION OR NON-TRADITION? THAT IS THE QUESTION

Traditional ceremonies and receptions are becoming a thing of the past. A lot of brides are starting to bring their personalities into their day in their own special way. Whether you like camping or candles, boots or bustieres, a personal element that is a true representation of the bride and groom are now more customary than ever before.

Gone are the days of sticking to the “RULES”. So many have been broken over the years that one must wonder, was it even a rule to begin with? Most broken rules come with consequences but when it comes to weddings, the only thing that came from this was various versions of how a wedding should be.

So Brides-to-be, don’t feel bad if your relatives sit on the RIGHT side of the church instead of the LEFT, just be happy they arrived in time to celebrate this joyous occasion with you and your fiancé. And if you don’t want a flower girl, a ring bearer, a sign carrier, or even bridesmaids or groomsmen, guess what? It’s OK! It’s YOUR DAY! Make it as easy on yourself as possible.

Now what about those reception events? Do you want to do all of them or some of them? Do you want to skip on all of them? How about trying to encourage single women guests to go to the dance floor and fight for flowers that will not guarantee them a husband in the near future? Whatever you decide to do, keep in mind that you want your guests to have a great experience at your event and providing an atmosphere that is conducive to that will create the best memories of all time.

From your décor to the songs played to get your guests on the dance floor, always stay true to yourself and let your entire day be a representation of you in every way possible. Make it your own. Make it unique. Make it exclusive.
